Any decent Breaking Bad tour needs to begin and end right here, at the White residence. This unassuming house in a lower-middle class neighborhood featured everything Walt and Skyler needed: a swimming pool for mental breakdowns, a spacious crawl space for hiding millions of dollars, and a roof low enough to throw an entire pizza upon.

I visited the White residence during Balloon Fiesta, which meant there were plenty of fellow Breaking Bad fans stopping by. In fact, I drove by twice, and both times there were at least 3 or 4 other cars parked nearby, with selfie-snapping fans taking their new profile photos.
I decided to park on Orlando Place, the approach street to the home, where we saw so many other sketchy characters loiter while staking out the house. While there, the home’s current owners opened the garage door a couple of times and stared back at the gawkers — not necessarily in an unfriendly way. They were just keeping all the behavior on the up-and-up. It would be a shame for any criminal activity to take place at Walter White’s house, after all.
