With just a few hours remaining before catching my flight, I decided to hit a couple of points of interest that I missed on Day 1. The first was Lookout Mountain, above the city of Golden.
To access Lookout Mountain Road, take exit 254 or 256 off I-70. There are plenty of signs pointing the way to Lookout Mountain and Buffalo Bill Cody’s gravesite.
When you reach the top of Lookout Mountain, you’ll find a couple of places to enjoy the view.
