There’s only one way to get onto Cape Breton Island (assuming you don’t have a boat). The Canso Causeway connects mainland Nova Scotia with its northern island. And while Cape Breton is probably the most beautiful part of Nova Scotia, its entryway is downright underwhelming. Some might even say ugly. There, I just did.
