Hoh Rain Forest: Hall of Mosses

The Hall of Mosses is a bit shorter than the Spruce Nature Trail, and just as the name promises, there’s no shortage of lush greenery.

This is one of the taller trees along the path.

A wind storm likely blew down this tree… now the roots stick up into the air.

Another creatively contorted tree trunk.

Feel like tackling a longer trail?  The peak of Mount Olympus is only 20 miles away, and the most direct trail to the top begins at the Hoh Rain Forest.

Once you’ve had your fill of greenery, get ready for some deep blue.  Head out of the rain forest, back towards US 101.  Our next stop is the incredible Pacific Coast.
