The California Dream Trip is a 7-9 day loop, beginning and ending in Los Angeles.

The California Dream trip travels north, along the Pacific Coast Highway, through San Luis Obispo and the Big Sur Mountains.  After a visit to Santa Cruz and San Francisco, the route heads east, for a visit to Yosemite National Park and the preserved ghost town of Bodie.  It takes a minimum of 7 days to make a quick loop around the state, but 8-9 days would allow for more lengthy stays at interesting points along the trip.
